Medela Quick Clean Breastmilk Removal Soap - 6 oz

This soap bottle is super convenient to keep in your pump bag when traveling or for work! It works great to clean the bottles leaving no residue. I never let them soak (never needed to). I'd definitely recommend this product!

First things first, I received this product as a member of the Stellar Product testing panel. I wasn't too convinced initially about using it but Sunday night I realized I forgot to wash my pump parts straight after work. Figured it was the perfect time to try out the soap and holy smokes it worked really well! I just left the parts to soak as I got some things ready for work the next day. I came back and the parts were all clean - yes even the nooks and crannies! I was impressed so have continued and will continue to use it.

Our breastfeeding journey has looked a lot different than I expected. Our son was born at 31 weeks, so I spent the first 3 months of his life exclusively pumping. After 4 months of nursing, we went back to pumping. I was so excited to try out this soap. Cleaning 5+ bottles a day by hand was getting a little exhausting. My initial observation was that I thought the bottle was a little small, but after reading the directions and using a couple of times, a little really goes a long way. Directions and use was simple enough. I first tested it out on bottles that had been left a day without cleaning. I was disappointed to find that after drying, they still felt a little slimy. My second go with using the soap, I used it on pump parts and a bottle that was just used. I had the same issue with after drying they still seemed dirty. I continued to use the soap, but felt like everything still needed a good clean after. I found that if I used it on a bottle that had just been used, and if I left it a little longer than the recommended time, it did seem to work better. One thing I did really like was using this soap on my pumping bra. It did a great job getting a milk stain out of it and I really felt like it left it as clean as using the washing machine does. Another thing I really liked about the soap is that it doesn't have a smell to it like other soaps I have tried. Overall, as much as I wanted to love this I don't think I would recommend this product as I only found it useful for washing my pumping bras. I have been breastfeeding for 13 months now and wish I had tried this product sooner and saved myself the time and effort of cleaning pump parts and nipples. The product is easy to use...just rinse your items, put them in a dish, add 3 squirts, fill with water, wait 5 minutes and tada! they are beautifully cleaned! I do sanitize after I rinse them and have to say, these parts have never been cleaner. The nipples don't have the cloudy residue that they had and it managed to help clean the spots that the sponge and nipple brush just weren't good at. I would highly recommend this product!

I recently went back to work after having my first baby. It was important to me to keep up with breastfeeding, thus needing to pump 3-4 times a day. In the midst of working and caring for our son, the task of cleaning bottles and pump parts became an absolute chore. That's why I was so grateful to receive the Quick-Clean Soap as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel! We could now soak all the little bottle and pump pieces, making the removal of that stubborn breast milk residue much easier and faster. We truly use this every single day. Who knew a soap could make such a difference!

The soap was life changing. I use the soap a few times a week. I am currently pumping 2-4 times a week. With my oldest child I dreaded cleaning all the bottles and pump parts. This soap made the process so easy. The first time I read the directions I was convinced there was no way my pump parts would be clean without a good scrub. But sure enough after letting everything soak and giving it a good rinse it was very clean. There was no breast milk residue on the parts. I saved a lot of time by not having to scrub all the parts.

I received the Medela Quick Clean soap from Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out but I actually already had a bottle! I really like this soap because it's so easy to use, does a good job, and doesn't leave behind a heavy fragrance or residue. I pump once a day after work and this soap makes it less of a chore. Soaking the parts and then rinsing them couldn't be any easier. If I've got some stubborn milk fat, I sometimes have to scrub with a bottle brush. My parts and bottles are left sparkling clean. It works well on clothing and reusable nursing pads. Thankfully, I don't leak much any more but this soap would have been a godsend when I did!

I am a very busy mom who is pumping three times a day at work for my 11 month old daughter. Before trying the Medela Quick-Clean Soap, I would come home from work every day, let my pump parts/her bottles soak for 30 minutes, and then scrub each item. This process would easily take 45 minutes out of my day.

I was a little skeptical that the Quick-Clean Soap would actually take the milk residue off of my parts, so I put it to the test and was thrilled with the results! I first started by putting my parts in a plastic container that would hold approximately a gallon of water. As I filled the bin with warm water, I added 3 pumps of the soap. I let the items sit in the soapy water for 5 minutes, rinsed them with hot water and voila, they were perfectly clean! No scrubbing of brushing required! This first set of items I used the soap on, were from pumping the night before (12 hours prior) and were not rinsed right after use!

A few days later, I came home from work on a Friday, and forgot to take my pump parts out of my bag. I went out of town and remembered when I came home Monday night that I didn't clean my daughter's bottles or the pump parts I used Friday. I repeated the same process as earlier, soaking the items for 5 minutes, and there was a small amount of residue left on the items. I repeated the process and the items came out clean! I was so impressed!

I've now starting using this soap on everything that her food gets on too and it works amazingly well! I've tried it on her plates, cups, highchair tray, etc. and it's taken off avocado, blueberries and raspberries. I wish I would have known about this product sooner. My cleaning routine has gone from 45 minutes a day to 10 minutes a day. I now tell everyone who's a new mom about it!! I received this soap from Stellar Product Testing Panel to review and I LOVE it. It is so great to be able to just let my pump parts and bottles soak and then rinse. It is hard to scrub some of the tiny pieces that go to my pump but this got everything with no scrubbing. There also was no residue left over either! I will definitely be buying this.

The Quick-Clean soap is truly quick and also easy to use, but it left my bottles with a thin film of milk on the bottle. It was hard to see the milk but you could still smell it and feel it when running your hands through the bottle. I tried it 10 times as I was part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and received the product for free but I had to re-wash each time as it wasn't actually clean.

I am OBSESSED with this soap! I've used several types of "bottle soaps" before, and none of them work as well as the Medela Quick Clean Soap. I use it on my breast pump parts, bottle parts, pacifiers, and even on my nursing bra!

Even if I left something sitting out with milk residue on it, the Quick Clean Soap cut right through it and basically dissolved it - no need for scrubbing! It made cleaning these items so much faster and easier, and I really feel like they got the parts and bottles super clean.

I received this soap as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I was excited to try it out since I despise washing my pump and bottle parts all the time! I used it a few times and I felt like I'm a pinch, it was quick and easy, but I didn't feel like it left my parts/bottles squeaky clean. My bottles felt slightly oily afterwards but "looked" clean. It's great for in between sessions in a day, but I'd still wash by hand in the evening or the next morning to ensure it's completely clean. I didn't try it on my nursing clothes just because I wash those all together with my other laundry. Overall, I think this saved me time from having to wash my pump parts and bottles after every pumping season, but it's not the only soap I'd use on my pump parts. I'd still need to hand wash or use the dishwasher at the end of the day. I think this would be great for working moms to use at work while pumping. For a mom who stays at home, it's convenient as well. I'd definitely use this again and recommend it to other new moms just because it does cut down on the amount of hand washing and any time saved for a mom is totally worth it!

I have been using this product for 5 months now for the bottles and pump parts and I like it. However, I find super incovenient the size of the bottle. It contains too little, so I have to buy a lot of them and every single comes with the plastic pump. So much plastic geez. I will suggest to sell a big botttle that we could use to refill this little bottle. Price it as it is convenient, but offer something for moms/people that use this soap in daily basis in order to reduce the times we have to make a purchase and most important to contribute to reduction of plastic.

I purchased this soap after switching over to mostly pumping. It cuts the cleaning time of bottles and pump parts in half. While I will admit I do find I still need to scrub out the bottles, I find a quick scrub with the bottle brush is more than enough. I also find that in comparison to dish soap this soap rinses out quickly, doesn't leave behind any residue or smell.

Loved it! I wish I had it from the start. Easy and saves alot of time :D

Exactly why I orders some of this soap thinking it would work wonders, however, I don't like the product I don't think it makes my bottles clean I still need to scrub them or they have breast milk residue I'd way rather just use dish soap

From washing bottles to adding it to the baby's laundry, this soap works!!! Removes the breast milk without all the chemicals and fragrances of normal soap! I swear by this stuff!!

This soap is literally the most awesome I have ever used been using it for about 2 years, lasts so much and works wonders! Don't even have to bother scrubbing this soap takes stubborn breastmilk off especially from pump parts! Love it and recommend it's use!

I really like the soup. It is great for only one-two drops worked so well and cleaned.

Followed instructions exactly but bottles still had residue on them after drying. Tried washing them again but leaving in the water for 10 minutes but they still had residue and did not feel clean. Maybe they work better on basic bottles but these do not clean the Dr.Brown bottles well at all. I didn't feel comfortable giving my daughter these bottles after using this soap, for the price I expected much more.

Since I've tried this soap I use only this one. It turns washing bottles to be so easy and efficient compared to other soaps. It doesn't leave any smell or milk leftovers thus extensive scrubbing and rinsing are not required. Amazing and very unique product!

I bought a few things a few months ago a hands free pumping bra quick clean wipes and the special soap to wash parts with a nursing brea a hands free pumping bra my only complaint is im plus sized so the hands free pumping bra dosnt fit right and i gotvthe biggest size they offered wish medela made hands free pumping bras even nursing bras for pmus sized woman thats why im only giving 4 stars...

Love this soap. As someone who is primarily pumping, this soap cuts down my washing time of all the parts in half. It leaves the parts super clean, without residue or any fragrance. The only thing I would recommend is if they start making it in bigger sizes so that you don't have to order so much. This might be specific to my situation since I'm pumping / cleaning so often.
