The upper portion of the shell unzips completely, allowing you to remove it and leave the padded lower half in place during the warmer months. This option also makes it easier to get your baby in and out of the seat. To top it all off, the Maxi-Cosi Footmuff has a cap that slips around your baby's head for a snug fit.

The Maxi Cosi Mico Infant Car Seat Footmuff has a synthetic filling and a cotton outer shell.

I wasn't sure the footmuff would fit my brand new Mico Max 30, but chose to get it and find out. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it does fit and how comfortable and convenient the footmuff is for baby. It could be slightly warmer, but could then really only be used in the cold winter months. This item can be used during 3:4 seasons, which is much more practical. The color is a lovely unisex bright blue and it looks great in my purple seat.

I have twin boys and everything I find on sale is welcome. This is a great find at a price you can't beat. Although it says that it is for Maxi Cosi carseats model 2009 it fits perfectly on mine which are 2014. Babies are comfortable and snug.
