Perfect seat for Infant, small, easy to clean, would recommend
February 17, 2015
We bought this as a high chair for our 5 month old. He is very strong (crawling); so we didn't think we'd need a chair that tilts back. When it came to picking a high chair, we were overwhelmed by the sizes available. Babies are tiny! We didn't understand why all our friends had enormous AT-AT chairs with 5-point harnesses and trays half the size of our dining table. A friend brought over their Graco Duo for brunch and we had to move the table to fit the thing into the dining area and thats without the base! It was attached to a dining chair. After thorough research, we decided on this chair over the similar Ingenuity one merely because it doesnt have the middle piece between the legs. Our son doesnt like being held down and this was one less thing in his way. Now weve had the chair for a few weeks I can say that we love it! Here are some great features:-It's tiny. Our house has a small dining area that wouldn't accommodate a traditional high chair. This tucks under the table when the tray isn't attached and is perfectly nondescript. -The tray fits into the dishwasher. One less thing to hand wash.-It's cute. The appearance and color are accurate in the pictures. -It's stable. I have a squirmer and this seems perfectly stable, even when hes leaning all the way to the side to feed the dog.-It's comfortable for baby: Our little guy didn't like the summer infant floor seat that we borrowed from a friend. It was too large for him and he'd fuss in it. He would tumble out of the Bumbo. For some reason, this seems to make him happy. Perhaps it's the tray that gives him something to hold onto. The insert is soft like the Bumbo as well.-It's easy to slide the tray in and out and lock. The tray is secure. (Some other reviews indicated the tray came out, I think they were referring to the activity tray, not the food tray.)-It's easy to clean. Just wipe it down. Theres no fabric to remove and wash separately.-It's portable. Just unhook and bring with you to a restaurant or travelling. (Granted, we haven't actually tried this yet, as our baby is too young to be trusted with solid foods in a restaurant. My comment is merely theoretical at this point.)We are very happy with our purchase and have recommended to others.
Pros
  • See above.
Cons
  • I wish it was sold in Orange :)

I bought 2 of these for my twins. We don't use the tray and use the booster for the table. They are small 3 year olds, about 25lbs, and these work great for them so that they can sit at the table easily. The rubber foot pegs on the bottom protect my table chairs and also keeps the seat in place and doesn't slide at all.

Easy to set up and clean but...

This seat seems comfortable (padded) and is easy yo strap to the chair and clean (we put the different parts in the dishwasher).
Pros
  • Easy to clean
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • The padding rips where the harness comes through
  • 5 point harness would be better
