Mamas & Papas Armadillo Flip Car Seat Adapter - Chicco

This product was difficult to find in stock, but am so happy we did. Adapter is perfect for our Flip XT and Chicco KeyFit 30! Seems sturdy and reliable. You have to detach the adapter to fold the stroller, buts it's pretty easy to click on and off. Overall, we are very satisfied.

Pretty decent adapter. Really glad that M&P thought of this and made their stroller compatible with a variety of car seats. Once assembled, the adapter feels fairly sturdy (given only four screws hold it together) and matches the stroller quite nicely. You hear the click when you place the infant seat on the adapter letting you know it is safely installed and the height feels nice and comfortable. I even flipped/tipped the stroller to see how it would handle and hold up and was pleased with how secure it is.The only drawbacks are:1. The stroller will not fold with the adapter so you will have to remove it each time you put the stroller away, which can be inconvenient.2. Given that you have to remove the adapter each time you put the stroller away, I would have hoped the latch mechanism would have been as smooth as the seat's latch mechanism. Unfortunately, it can get stuck and might require you to remove one side at a time using one hand to hold the stroller frame and the other hand to release the latch and pull up. Perhaps over time and use, this will improve.Overall, very happy that this is an option for the Armadillo Flip. Now all we need is that bumper bar and the parent console and we'll be good to go!Attaching pics of the adapter installed as well as the Keyfit 30 in place.
