With a couple of tweaks this can be five star

We purchased this chair with the guidance of our speech therapist for our child who had had lots of feeding problems and has hypotonia. It has a tall back and high sides, a foot rest and removable cover. This enabled us to modify it a little to fit our son's frame. Under the cover we have placed rice filled pockets and pieces of styrofoam noodles that give him extra support. It is terrific and puts him in the perfect position to feed orally.
The adjustability of the chair makes it suitable for a range of ages from infancy to the toddler years. The height adjust to a number of positions, so the child is always a part of the action. It is well constructed, sturdy and easy to clean.
I have added some stick on metal hooks to the outside of the rear feet so that we can store the tray on the chair when not in use.
The tray is very large, not a one handed affair, but does have a removable cover with compartments so is useful for a number activities.
The front wheels are nice so that the chair can easily be moved without spoiling floor surfaces, however they do not lock in place- a missed safety opportunity on the manufacturer's part.
The price is fair for the product. The styling is modern and fits well in our kitchen- not baby baby.
Pros:Tall back and sturdy sides for support. Adjustable foot rest (ideally would be a bit deeper), adjustable chair height-works at different surfaces. Can be used with and without the tray. Cover is easy to clean and is modern.chair is very stable and not at all tippy.easy to clean.
Cons:The front wheels do not lock so a cruiser can push this along, would be improved if optional lock mechanism was applied.
The tray locks in only one position, which is very close to the child- great for a smal child, but a getting bit close for a bigger child.
