Description
You want reassurance that baby is resting safe and sound. Fortunately, our Direct Connect Digital Monitor operates on a 900 MHz frequency, so you can clearly hear even the quietest whimper, without fear of interference from your phone, wireless network or home electronics. What’s more, our exclusive Graco vibration notification technology allows you to feel baby’s call, should you be unable to hear it for whatever reason. With its extended 2,000 ft range, you’ll have plenty of room to roam. And if baby needs some reassuring words, the talk back feature allows you to offer them from wherever you may be.

It works when it wants to work
June 26, 2016
Turn it on and I can hear into the baby's room. Has good volume control. I like that I can press a button and talk to my baby if needed. The features are good. But it's inconsistent and will wake you up at night. We don't take it out of its range and sometimes it will work no problem, and sometimes it loses signal. When it loses signal it beeps. If you don't want it to wake you, you have to turn the volume down, which means you can't hear the baby anymore. In my room, it sits at the door (closest spot to baby's room) so it doesn't lose signal...but it still does, so now I have to get up to fix it. So be prepared parents! IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP AT NIGHT, DON'T GET THIS MONITOR!

doesn't hold a charge
September 21, 2015
We registered for this monitor for our first child 4 years ago. This monitor was nice as it has two seperate units unfortunatly they did not hold a charge after a few months. We always had to have the base and seperate units plugged in. There were times even when it was plugged in that it would go in and out of service/working.

Great product!
July 16, 2015
We recently purchased our 2nd set of these monitors. Our 1st set lasted over 5 years! And I believe they would still be going strong had it not been for our toddlers knocking them off on to the hardwood floors like 100 + times over the years. We looked at other monitors and they just didn't have as many options or the range that these have for the price! They are a great product and I would recommend to anyone!

Better than eyes in the back of your head!
May 18, 2015
I received this off my registry from my first pregnancy. After the first few weeks, I knew I had chosen the right one. It was sensitive enough that I could hear her breathing, moving around, and even the difference in her cries. But, not so sensitive that the background noises drowned her out. It had a great range on it, and didn't eat through batteries like most others. It also has the talk back option, which was a sleep saver for us. It's a great deal.

Great for Apartment/Small Area
May 13, 2015
This is okay for someone who has a small apartment. If you're looking for one with a wide range, I don't recommend it. I love that I can hop in the shower or cook and feel at ease. Sometimes I think I hear my baby crying before I got this and it was just me confused.

Great Product
May 1, 2015
I actually have two of these one was given to me at my baby shower and I bought a second set when I had my second daughter, they are really good monitors, I love that I have two parent units so I can leave one in my bedroom on my night stand and have the other one downstairs so when the kids are napping so I can be downstairs cooking or cleaning and not having to worry about going back upstairs to grab the monitor out of my room. They have great sound quality and I love that it shows you the temperature in the kids rooms so you can always make sure that they rooms are not too cold or too warm. The only down side is that the battery life on these monitors is not very good so they do need to be plugged in most of the time.

Best Monitor I've found
May 23, 2014
I have used baby monitors for 26 years caring for my daughter, who is on on life support (ventilator and gastric tube feeding). Of course it does not work at 2000 ft through walls and floors. The 2000 ft spec is likely test conditions in open air. It does work at a distance greater than any other brands that I have found. I currently own 2 other sets (different manufacturers) that claim long range. Graco always works at a greater distance than any of the others. The call back feature is awesome! It does not transmit at the same distance as the base unit, but is sufficient to let my daughter know that I am coming. Baby monitors are designed for 1 or 2 years use. I need them long term. After a few years the filter caps stop working and they get really noisy. If there is something that is designed for longer use, higher quality components regardless of cost, I would really like to know. It would be worth the added cost.

Problems with range
May 7, 2014
I bought this product about 1 yr ago. the problem I have is that after researching many products, this one said it will reach 2000ft . and I can not go from one end of my house to the other with out it going out and not picking up signal... to use in my room and babies room its great but that's about it...

Works great!
February 4, 2014
We had another Graco monitor for 4 years before we needed a new one. This one has worked really well and we like to be able to let our kids know we're on our way with the two-way feature. Only down-side is that we are adding another baby, thus another room and would like to be able to add a second receiver without buying another set.

Great monitor, with exceptions...
January 24, 2014
We received this monitor when our daughter was born in Sept 2010 as a shower gift. At first it seemed like the perfect monitor. However, after some time it would completely lose connection with the base unit for no reason at all. One min you are listening to your baby sleep, next min, silence. Sometimes it comes back on after about 10 seconds, other times, you have to go shut the base unit off and restart it. Also, the range is REALLY pathetic. 60-80 feet and it starts beeping because of poor signal. But, with those two problems aside, its not a bad monitor. I'm just glad I didn't pay for it.

I really like this monitor. It is small and sleek, the vibrate function is awesome. I have not really found a need for the temperature monitor (our house is usually the same temp all over ??). I have used the parent talk function mostly to mess with my 6 year old daughter who shares a room with the baby. She doesn't know or understand where my voice is coming from LOL. I am sure as the baby gets older I will use it for its intended function. My only complaint is that even on the lowest setting the parent unit is LOUD! It picks up every cough and sigh - not ideal for trying to sleep! I put a small piece of clear tape over the baby unit microphone (the 2nd dot in line with the green power light) and it muffled it just perfect! I also put one piece of scotch tape over the light bar on the parent unit. I don't need to lay awake at night and listen to baby breathe...I only want to be woken up if he is fussing!!

Easy to pack and take on the go when needed. When my husband and I do housework, its nice for each of us to carry one as well so we both can listen for the baby. It is also nice having 2 receivers to use and keep one charged at all times when I am home with the baby. We didnt feel it was necessary to have video etc on our monitor and this is the perfect model to get if you dont want just a basic monitor.

Only 1 problem
January 20, 2013
I have had this monitor for 7 months now and the only problem i have had with it is it says you have an extended 2,000 ft range. I've tried to see how far I can go with the monitor on and I can only go about 60 ft until I cant hear anything. I don't love it because of that but I do like it for all the other things it does. I do go outside with it to do yard work, I talk into the monitor to let my child know I'm hear and will be their soon and it wasn't that much money at all. Its a good monitor to get.

Loving This Monitor
January 17, 2013
We changed monitors with our second baby because we moved into a bigger place and the first one wasn't as good as this one. I love that we are able to have two... so we keep one downstairs and one in our bedroom and leave the main on in the babies room. It picks up every sound - every coo, cough, turn, sigh. We have even taken it on vacation with us and it worked great. The batteries stay active for a while. We dig this monitor.

Just can't get it to work properly
September 30, 2012
We purchased this monitor set several months prior to having our first baby. We did not test its range prior to actually needing it. I have found that we barely get reception downstairs when the monitor is upstairs. If I am outside the exact room that base is in, within 20ft, reception is constantly in and out. Standing near the window doesn't help either. Several other monitors are capable of allowing you to hear you child breathing. This is only possible when the base is within inches of my daughter's mouth and the volume on the receiver maxed out. I originally re-paired the units, as others have stated, with mixed results. Overall, I am very unsatisfied with the quality of this product. Signal is poor at 20feet, a far cry from the advertised 2000ft. Sound clarity is good, if you have a signal and a screaming child. I will be purchasing another monitor to replace this one.

August 17, 2012
These monitors are ok, but do loose signal on occasion. However, if you turn them off then back on they are fine. They tend to beep when the battery dies, and also the system goes in and out and sometimes you cant hear anything for a few seconds. Not good for first time parents with sleeping infants. Not too bad for the money

Range could be better
August 16, 2012
A good monitor, nice to have the vibrate function and a sensitive receiver for heavy sleepers (me). The range is good, but not fantastic. Rechargeable batteries are quite good and could last all day if needed.

To those having connection issues, I did too and found this page full of others having the same problem. Try re-pairing the parent and nursery units as per the instructions. Ours wouldn't go a day without losing signal and they made no alert (the alert does work, but not for this problem). It's been over a week now since I re-paired the units and they're still working great.

Not the Best
April 23, 2012
I just moved my daughter into her own room 3 weeks ago. The monitor worked great for the first week. Now, at night, it beeps b/c it's lost signal at least 2 times a night -- every night. We have to sneak into her room and turn off the base, turn it back on to re-connect the monitor. We are NOT that far away from her room where the signal should be lost. There is no way to Lock the channel so as to not lose it either. We have experienced it losing signal and it NOT beeping and our daughter has been crying without us knowing. I think a different monitor is in our near future due to how poorly this one functions. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It wasn't a cheap monitor, so you'd think it would work better than it does. I suggest for the money, you get a different item -- unless you like getting up more often than you baby to deal with a lost signal....

monitor works just fine!
March 3, 2012
I bought this monitor before reading the reviews on this site--and I'm glad I didn't read them first! This monitor system works just fine for us--the only problem we had was with the battery, and Graco honored the warranty and sent us a replacement battery in 2 days. We can hear our son just fine--and even had to turn it down because the mic was so sensitive. I'm very pleased with this monitor.

Worst Monitor
December 11, 2011
This monitor is terrible. We bought it thinking we would be able to keep one parent unit in the master bedroom, and the other in the playroom, so that we weren't constantly shuffling around the parent units. Unfortunately, the parent units constantly lost signal to the base, despite being only about 50-100 feet apart. Being on battery power was even worse. By far the worst grace product we own. Definitely would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Disaster as a Monitor
November 30, 2011
This monitor does not work at all! Constantly dropping signal even when 100 feet away. All night long off and on, plugged in and within 100-150 foot of base. Graco should really pull these. I purchased two sets for two children and neither unit works. Definitely not a viable product. Hopefully they will take them back at the store.

Worst Range
August 23, 2011
This monitor has a terrible range. I bought it because the website advertised a 2000 foot range. While I knew that would be unrealistic, I don't even get 100 feet out of it. And I can't "roam" about the house with it either. I'm utterly disappointed. Back to the store I guess.

Unreliable
May 23, 2011
I have spent the last several nights listening to intermittent beeping as it goes out of range. Considering our house is less than 30 feet long, and there are only two wooden doors between the base and the receiver, I thought it should work. I changed my mind and bought this one so I could work in the garage, or in the yard while my son was sleeping. The 2000 foot range is a gross and ridiculous exaggeration. Maybe 2000 feet in perfect weather conditions in open air in a field with no other cell phones, radios, or anything else. I urge anyone looking for a monitor to try and find a different one. I also am starting to have lots of cracking and popping noises with our monitor as well, and it is on the lowest volume. I will probably buy a new monitor in the next couple of days.

Love it, but no back light for parent screen
February 23, 2011
I absolutely love everything about this product but for one small detail that is lacking: there is no back light for the parental unit. We live in Colorado where it can get cold so the unit is awesome to monitor temperature in the baby's room, however, we cannot tell the temperature on the unit with out having to take the parental unit to a light to see what it is. At night this is a huge pain!!!!!

Wish I could give it a zero...
February 22, 2011
We have gone through two sets of these monitors, we thought maybe the first one was defective but the same thing happens with the second one too. The base and parental units do not stay consistently connected and "beep" all the time. This is very frustrating in the middle of the night. There is no light on the parental units so you cannot see what the temperature in the baby's room is with out turning on lights, also very frustrating in the middle of the night. These are not the most expensive monitors out there but they are not cheap and definitely not worth the money or frustration they will cause any sleep deprived parent of a newborn. In hind sight we should have bought the same monitor we have for our oldest, stays connected and has lights on the parental units.

Not a 2000 feet range monitor. At most you can move 30 feet away from the monitor, after that the signal is lost. Fully charged battery of parent unit last for only 12 hours and have to be recharged minimum for 6 more. Won't buy it again, less recommend it at all.
