Fisher-Price Smart Connect 2-in-1 Projection Mobile

Used for both of my kiddos with much success!! Changed batteries twice so far each after 1.2 years of use. It was amazing when the baby would wake at 2:30 am an all I had to do was turn on the mobile via my phone to soothe the baby back to sleep, so not getting out of bed was AWESOME. This for us is our must have! Kids 3 and 1.4 still love to have it projected on the ceiling.

This mobile is amazing... when it works... which is never. When my sweet boy wakes up in the middle of the night, I used to be able to quickly get on the app and have it start playing music. Now, when he wakes up I'm met with the "to connect press the yellow button on the mobile". And I do and it works for 10 minutes before disconnecting again. At this point it's completly useless. There is no support from fisher-price on troubleshooting.

Very happy with product, but it keeps turning on the music spontaneously, even when our phones are not connected, which wakes our baby sometimes in the middle of the night.

Honestly, I don't understand what everyone else is complaining about. This thing is amazing and SAVED me. From day one, when my son was about 2 months old, I could turn this on remotely when he woke up from naps in his crib and he would happily coo and gurgle at it for up to 40 minutes!!! When he went through a phase of only taking 20-30 min naps, it gave me extra mommy time that I so desperately needed! He STILL loves it, and he's 9 months old! This is one of the BEST purchases I made for my baby, hands down. I have not had any problems with it, period. Thank you Fisher Price for another great product!!

I just received today and assembled everything for my baby.At night I pressed the light button it was broken. I received a broken one.

We purchased this mobile for our 4 month old to attempt to help with the transition to her crib. She loves is, however the motion of the mobile is very jerky and not smooth at all. I have heard others complain about this jerky motion being the first steps toward failure. I have had this product less than a week, I am surprised at the quality of this product. I have had many Fisher Price products and have never had this kind of issue. :-(

Pros: I really like the music and volume options, and while we were using the mobile I liked turning on the projector for my daughter. Cons: now that she's too old for the mobile, I am pretty disappointed with the projector. The visuals are very blurry so while I would like to be pointing out the various animals being projected, my 16-month-old probably has no idea what she's looking at. Like another reviewer, I also found it pretty annoying that without the mobile, the whirring continues once the image has stopped projecting at the setting between On and Off. Sorry - I wish I had better things to say about this toy. As a music-only device I would like it, but considering the price I felt a little cheated.

Purchased for my grandson, the mobile stopped rotating after only one month. Gears are clicking and nothing is moving. He loved the motion and we are very disappointed with the inferior product and lack of durability, especially since it simply sits attached to his crib. I had a fisher price wind up mobile 25 years ago that lasted forever, wish I still had it. This product is extremely disappointing and I was too late to exchange or refund it because we bought it long before it was finally installed. Now I have no way to exchange or refund. Fisher Price used to be such a reliable brand. Not anymore!

Product broke the first time using it. However I called them and they are sending us a voucher for a new one. That to me is a great company!

My daughter received this mobile for her baby shower. At first I was surprised at the price when I found out how much it was but it is worth every penny and then some. All the features are fantastic. The rotating lights and mobile kept my grandson occupied and the variety of noise/music is very soothing. The colors and animals are bright and charming. He is 15 months now and it is still in his crib and he enjoys playing it while he is in his crib both before and after his sleep time. Wonderful mobile and well worth the money!

My baby needed to be held for naps for the first 3 months, the 4th month she after a crazy sleep training we were able to get her in her crib but she had to be put down completely asleep or she was awake screaming. She turned 4 months today and a friend told us about this mobile. It worked like a charm the first try. I almost was in tears. We swaddled her & put her under the mobile with white noise and she was out. Hallelujah! Thank you fisher price!

I received this mobile through fishers price play and rate and I was immediately impressed with the quality of this product. It is very well made, and the animals are adorable. I love that you can switch between music and different sounds, my two year old always loved rain/foresty sounds and this was hard to find on any toy. The light show is great to keep the baby's attention, and the whole thing is very soothing. The fact that I can control the entire mobile from my phone is a wonderful addition.

My granddaughter loved the projection feature. She would listen to the music and watch the pictures on the ceiling until she fell asleep.

I absolutely love this product! It has many great features! I think that the ability to turn the mobile back on w/ out entering the room & disturbing the baby is my favorite feature!

When we received it, we instantly installed on crib. The baby was so entertained. Loved how it rocked her back to sleep when she woke. We would like to Thank Smart Connect for making this product.

My daughter used this for my grandson, and he loved it! It was very soothing to him, and he calmed down quickly when she turned it on. He really enjoyed watching the characters move. I will definitely suggest this mobile to anyone who is having a baby!

This is being used by our 4 month old grandson. It is just wonderful. I'm very impressed. The colors are cheerful and bright, the characters are adorable and the sound options are just perfect. Our grandson loves to watch the images that move on the display and is very entertained. The funny thing is that his almost 3 year old sister loves it, too. She likes to lay next to brother and watch the mobile. Very relaxing for both of them. The mobile seems to be very sturdy. We are very impressed.

I absolutely love all of the Smart Connect products because of the convenience. I have been extremely satisfied with the Smart Connect Swing and Rock and Play. I expected nothing but satisfaction from the mobile as well. In fact, I was so confident that I purchased two--one for our house and one for grandma's!
We have encountered two issues. One issue we were able to work around. While the mobile is supposed to be designed to attach to any crib, we found that the strap that attaches the unit to the crib was too short to wrap around the front of the crib (so baby could look at it from the side). I was not able to attach it to the front as it is pictured in advertising. Instead, I had to attach it to the side panel (above the baby's head area). I have a standard Delta crib but the design of the crib has a thicker panel in the front. The side panel isn't as thick. I wish the strap was longer to accommodate different crib designs.
Now for the quality of the product itself, one of the units I purchased works beautifully. I love being able to control every feature from my phone. I don't have to disturb the baby. It even worked in long range with the baby's nursery upstairs and my bedroom downstairs! However, the second unit I purchased seems to be defective. We just turned it on for the first time today. The music is skipping. We have tried the typical turn it on and off resolution. No luck. It may be going back to the store.

My son enjoyed watching this product and the room light up. The only issue was that it was so entertaining that he would not sleep if the light and mobile was on. We would catch him playing with the buttons in the middle of the night LOL It was a good way to prep him for bedtime and calm him down. I was intimidated by the phone to device capabilities but my husband loved it!

We had not bought a mobile for my son until this one and he was almost 9 months old when we got it. He was having trouble staying in his crib during nap time when I was trying to clean house or something. Once we got this, he would wake up from his naps and, most of the time, I wouldn't even know he was awake because he would sit and play with the mobile. We made it accessible to him in the crib so he learned quickly how to turn on the light show and play the music. It was a great purchase with many wonderful features that really help distract little ones so you have a second to get stuff done! I would definitely recommend getting this mobile.

Really easy to put together. I wish it wasn't just crib compatible. There wasn't enough room for a crib so had to find a way to make it fit on my godson's pack and play. The projections with the animals is a new neat feature that my godson would reach for. The sound choices are fantastic and the sound quality is amazing. I definitely loved that I could control it all with my phone. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a child and a crib.

Ours may have just been a fluke, but we just got it yesterday and none of the screws work. None of them would screw into the holes. We tried to see if they were threaded backwards, if something was wrong with the holes, etc, and nothing worked. My husband determined that the screws were too big. Not exactly what I wanted to hear with a screaming 4 week old next to me. Now I have to ship it back and go out and buy a new one. Overall the product seems awesome just can't screw it to the crib. I think once we get a new one this will be a perfect fit. Look for my update when we find time to exchange this one out.

After purchasing the mobile along with the baby's new crib, I was worried that he was going to have trouble adjusting. After he woke up crying, I turned on the mobile and he was in complete "awe". He calmed down within a few minutes of watching the lights and sounds of the melody. Total life saver.

By far the best mobile I've ever used, the projections on the ceiling kept my son interested in it long enough that he just stared until he passed out. The sounds are also very high quality by far the best product out there.

This mobile is easy to set up and use, though at times can take a couple minutes to connect but not often. My daughter loves switching through the different types of sounds and songs independently. She also enjoys the projector while falling asleep - it's very calming. I am glad I received this item and got to try it out!

Loved the soothing sounds and full light color show. All the features were nice. I really have no complaint about the projection mobile and neither did my grandchild.

I bought this for the projection and haven't used the mobile. My older son has the Fisher-Price Luv U Zoo Crib 'N Go Projector Soother and at 3 he still plays with it. We really like that product. So I needed to get something for my younger son who is 8 months. In theory this is good, but you have to be quite close for the smart connect, I'm just down the hall and it always had to reconnect. The rotating image is noisy and too fast. Also, I have to press the button twice to turn in off. I press once and the projection switches off, but not the noise of the wheel going round. I have to push it again to stop that. I will be returning this product and wish I could get another Fisher-Price Luv U Zoo Crib 'N Go Projector Soother.

My granddaughter loved the music and the projection on the ceiling. The music also seemed soothing to her. I love you can just stand at the inside of the door and control it and that it has many different songs and soothing sounds. Would definitely recommend this product for any infant.

I am very impressed and would recommend this product to everyone. I was very happy to see that it was partially put together took the feeling of being overwhelmed away , with my last purchase I had a lot of little pieces and really never got it fully put together, not this one A+ there. Love the animals plump little animals with hard plastic (easier to clean) but also giving it a soft touch with the ears and tails made of soft materials. Removable soft acorns are a cute touch. It snapped together easily and also loved that the screws are already in place just needing to be tightened to put the top carousel on another A+. So far within the first 10 min of opening loving the product. Putting it on the crib was super easy and it is easy to remove and re-position, I do though wish there was a way to be able to fasten it safely on the pack-n-play. My grandson loves it, as a infant he really liked the white noise mimics the womb sound, the animated projection is awesome, especially now that I had to remove the top carousel, as he now is able to get up to reach the cute little toy animals, but now he is still able to enjoy the lullabies and the projection on the ceiling. (a suggestion to make all the animals removable to be able to use the umbrella for a closer viewing of the projection especially during nap times). The battery life is great haven't had to replace them yet thanks to the the automatic shut off and the plus of being able to turn it off and on and switch it with the smartphone app. In all I absolutely love this product and would recommend anyone to purchase it, I have purchased a second one already for a baby shower gift.

My heart melted when I opened the box and saw the animals for the mobile.They are adorable and I hope this is a new FP theme to come out that I havent seen in stores. The lullaby music is beautiful.All the sounds have great quality, the light is bright enough that it lit up quite a bit of the crib.The projector is great for keeping baby's attention until she falls asleep.Having something like this to be Blue-Tooth controlled is amazing.The only things I can complain about is that its a little chunky although it does hang on to the crib well and if it would come with a charger option for power.

I wasn't sure my granddaughter would like this projection mobile as she is 8 months old, but she loves it. She loves the lights on the ceiling and the music and my daughter loves that you can control it with you smart phone and do not have to go all the way into the room to adjust. I would highly recommend this to any new parent or as a shower gift!

Both my son and I enjoyed this product. He's a bit older, so we didn't use the mobile part very long, but he liked watching and playing with the animals. He is also able to push the sound buttons himself. I enjoyed the smart connect feature. It's nice to be able to turn the projector or music back on if needed without having to go back in my son's room and disturbing him.

This was such a fantastic purchase! My child loves the bright, colorful toys that dangle from the mobile. She loves the soothing music and bright pictures that shine on the ceiling. The fact that you can control the mobile with my smart phone is a god send. Especially during the night when she just needs a little soothing to go back to sleep! When I got this product I was so excited to see that it had the different features it offered, how Ian able to control it with my phone,the soothing music and the projector with the animal images were so cute ! The nightlight was a very nice touch, not to bright but just enough to see baby in the crib when I checked on her! I'm so happy with this mobile! I love fisher price products, they are always durable and last a long time.

The app needs to allow a person to turn the unit off in the app to save battery life. So you don't have to manually go into the babies room and shut the mobile off.

I thought the product had everything. It is a sound machine, light show and a mobile. It is helping my 7 month old learn to sleep in my crib. It was hard for my 20 month old, to get to sleep. He was so excited pushing all the buttons. Lol I have a 4 year old grandchild who still goes to sleep watching the light show and listening to the music. This product will be useful for quite a few years in a child's life.

My baby LOVES to lay and watch the animals with the music playing! The ability to control from your phone makes it a perfectly convenient toy for parents to have on the crib for your sleeping baby.

Let me first start by saying that there are very few things in this world that will keep my one year old daughter still and content for more than two minutes at a time. This mobile is now one of those things! As soon as I turned on the music and projector she was instantly in a trance and wouldn't take her eyes off of it. She has been able to fall asleep to it every time! One of the best and most unique features is the projector. It kept my daughter's attention without being over stimulating. I received the Smart Connect 2 in 1 Projection Mobile for free thru the playratereveiw program. This mobile is so much better than the regular little wind up mobiles! I love that it has the mobile with the projection ceiling light.My granddaughter loves both! I love the soothing lullabies or the nature sounds that you can pick. I like the fact that you can still use it when the baby is older without the mobile. The projection light and nightlight is a great feaure for the older ones.The cute little forest animals are cute,I love the acorns! We did not try the smart connect to the phone so I can't comment on that part. If you need to buy a gift, this product would be an awesome one!

This product was used more like a projector night light for my toddler grand daughter. she loved turning in circles to the music.

This was very easy to put together and connect with the app. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 and it works with this. It connected securely to our criteria . I was nervous at first about the plastic toys possibly falling but everything seems secure when put together. It t our baby's attention. She loved the music and lights.

My son loves his 2-in1 Projection Mobile. He can be crying when I lay him down and he instantly stops crying and just stares at it. Also the Smart Connect App is very easy to use and is very convenient. I have already recommended this product to everyone I know with babies. Great product!
