Spinning Surprise will keep toddlers gleefully guessing as they watch the No. 1 blue engine spin in a wheel of track before popping out the trapdoor and rolling along. When children spin the wheel one way, Thomas will stay within the tracks. When they spin it the other way, he’ll deliver a delightful surprise as he drops through the flipping door. Children will have a ball as this uniquely stylized Thomas train spins within the wheel, then pops out and continues rolling. The outside of the wheel is also decorated with numbers and adorable Thomas & Friends? engines to encourage counting and number recognition. Plus, as toddlers spin the wheel and chase the rolling Thomas ball, it can help promote fine and gross motor skills. Great Thomas the Train Features

Our grandson is 14months and loved he could roll Thomas back and forth with his Pop Pop. He doesn't even care if the Thomas ball is in the track. He is just excited that he can roll this toy back and forth and see Thomas at the same time. Add the ball and its a new toy all over again. Glad we could fine somethin with Thomas for his a and a great toy!

I recieved My first Thomas and friends rail rollers spinning surprise toy for free from fisher price play.rate.reveiw. program in order to write an honest review of the toy. This is my very own opinion. This toy sits on the floor and rolls around, releasing the ball through plastic flaps built into the circular toy. My baby really loved chasing this toy around. Its designed well with thick plastic and is a good quality toy for at a fair price. I like it because it keeps my babies entertained. It also encourages numbers and counting. Although i do wish it came with another ball for a backup because anyone with young children knows that toys with balls easily get lost. Let alone a toy where the ball rolls out (and out of sight) very quickly. Its a great value overall and i would definitely recommend to my friends with toddlers

Very basic

I received this in the mail about two or three weeks ago. My 18 month old was very excited it has a ball in it (he loves any ball he can find). But the spinning with the ball in it is a little bland, the ball is supposed to pop out of the little door thing as you roll it. The wheel part is fun to spin but the ball is a little too difficult to roll inside of it.

Thomas and Friends Rail Rollers Spinning Surprise is such a fun toy! My 18 month old son enjoys it so much! Every time he rolls it you can see the suspense on his face as he wonders if the Thomas ball will pop out or not! This toy has brought a lot of giggles and good times into our home, I certainly recommend it for ages 12 months and up!

Cute toy!

We were excited to get this toy because my daughter loves Thomas the train. Although, the wheel was hard for her to figure out how to roll, and honestly me too. You have to follow a certain way for Thomas to pop out and by the time you get it figured out, toddler is gone. But she does like to play with just the Thomas ball!

Very fun!

I just got this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. My daughter is 15 months old and has a fun time rolling it around. My oldest daughter who is 5 also thinks it's a blast rolling it down whatever ramp she can make. Very good quality toy. The ball is heavier than I thought it would be so it stays in the wheel pretty well. Very glad!

Ok toy

We got this toy for my son. He played with it for a few minutes as it was new, but has hardly touched it since. It is not the toy that we were expecting. It's a ball in a roller, and the ball spits out. Not something that my almost two, or three year old enjoyed at all.

Simple toy

My 20 month old son got excited when he saw the package and the ball (he loves balls). But when he was able to play with it, he couldn't understand how to do it. He was mostly just interested in the ball and the trap door. He is very advanced for his age so it didn't hold his attention for too long. Seems like a good toy for a younger child, or less advanced to actually challenge them but too simple for my son.

Great for curious children

Great quiet time toy

I got this and first thing, my little one loves it! The size is appropriate for her to play with on her own (with supervision). The product seems strong enough to withhold toddler roughness. I like that the gate falls open so that a child has to roll it the right way and if not have to learn to put it back in and try again. The only downfall I have had with this product is the small train ball that rolls inside the spin circle. The toy is rated for 12+ months and I see this small, but surprisingly heavy and hard ball being a perfect fit for my little ones small hands and great throwing arm. Of course we have had no throwing mishaps yet, fingers crossed!

I just got the toy today, but my 22mo daughter loves it. She isn't quite rolling it yet, but she will not put it down and grunts every time I try to show her. She was studying the numbers on the side and was first attracted by the colors. My only concern is her possibly losing Thomas the Train. Other than that it is a good quality toy.

Not exactly what i expected

My son is 20 months old and he likes it. But the ball doesn't pop out the trap door like it's suppose to and it doesn't work as we expected. Its an okay toy, but doesn't interest him as much. It is for children 12 months and up. But even at 20 months, it doesn't roll that well for him.
