I was debating buying a standard booster seat, but I am glad I purchased this multi-use chair. Initially, it matched up (size and shape wise) with my other highchair. I like symmetry, and it worked when feeding both kids. Unfortunately, my son is a mad-rocker...when he gets mad he rocks violently back and forth. This has caused the base of the chair to crack. I don't fault the chair, as I don't think it would have cracked under standard use. Still, the crack makes it unsafe to use as a highchair (okay, honestly, we've used it for a while, but the crack is now pretty bad!). Rather than render this chair useless, we simply removed the booster seat and have attached it to a kitchen chair! So glad I went with this model. It has a couple of tray options, large and small, so that is a nice feature. I do wish it had more of a center post that came up from the seat (instead of a small one that comes down from the tray). All in all, I am pleased with this purchase and have reaped the benefits of its versatility.
