Fisher-Price Deluxe Newborn Rock ’n Play Sleeper - Soothing Savanna

Loved this! We bought two, one for each twin. They used them until 2 months old when we changed them over to cribs. The babies would throw up when they were placed on a flat crib bed but had no issues in this sleeper. Plus, this is cheaper than a bassinet and it can fit perfectly next to a bed. The "vibration" option was useless though, hardly felt it and neither babies noticed it, minus the noise.

Assembly of unit requires two adults and some patience. Parts should be identified better to show which go where . Also putting tubes together for frame and legs required a hammer to tap together. Once assembled , unit seems good.

I cant begin to tell you how much this product has saved out life... To begin our baby was born on June 28th and for about a month was having issue keeping her milk down and was crying a lot and just couldnt seem to get any rest. So that meant no sleep for us either. Since purchasing the rock and play sleep our baby has been able to not only sleep but eat and keep her milk down. Happy baby equals happy parents. It was an instant fix to our problem. I now recommend the product to all new parents and parents to be!! Thanks so much for this product fisher price.

I love my rock n play sleeper! it's so easy to move from room to room. It's also the perfect size for these first couple months while baby sleeps in our room. It doesn't take up a lot of space. I set it up right by my bed and can easily monitor baby while she sleeps, reach over and give her a binky or pick her up and feed her and put her back in bed. It folds almost flat too and I just set it against the wall and it's not in the way at all. We recently went to California on vacation for a week and it was a life saver to have this to be able to put the baby down to sleep in any room we were in and it didn't take up a ton of trunk space. My baby sleeps so soundly in it. It's easy to fold and unfold. It's super soft and comfy for baby. The slight incline is perfect. The cover comes off easily and can be washed which is a must for me. The mesh sides are perfect so she doesn't get too hot. I use this sleeper all day long. I love the portability of it. I simply move it to wherever I am in the house to keep baby near me and it's so easy and convient to move and fold. It has been a life saver to have. I love it! Highly recommend if you want something small for baby to sleep in, want something great for traveling, and/ or just want baby off the ground and near you. The only flaw is it only rocks itself on wood or tile floor. It rocks easily on carpet but you have to rock it by hand or foot. It also doesn't rock itself for very long on my tile.

The rock n play is a must have for parents of newborns. I had an off-brand version with my first baby and it was a lifesaver. I really wanted a rock n play for my newest addition, but with all the other gear I had I decided to wait on it. So I was very happy to receive the opportunity to test out the Deluxe Rock N Play with my newest baby and it came at just the right time when I really needed some sleep! I don't know why I hesitated to have one from the start this time. The incline and cozy fabric makes it the perfect environment for baby to snooze peacefully. I love that it is convenient to move from room to room in the house. And since it folds easily it is great for on the go if you travel with baby. This model comes with a vibration feature which is nice, but my baby doesn't particularly care for it. The ability to rock the sleeper with your hand or foot is key to getting your little one into a peaceful sleep. It is too bad that my boys grow out of this so quickly, but it is worth it's weight in gold for the first few months. I highly recommend this product for all newborn babies.

Baby and mom both love the rock and play. I feel confident laying her down in it after a feeding since shes not laying flat. She also seems to enjoy the cozy fabric. It is also so easy to fold up and move from room to room!

I received this item from Fisher Price to try for free when my second child was 4 months old. I previously used a Fisher Price rocker for my first child two years ago and it really helped a lot. So I never think to buy another swing or something else for my new coming child until I receive this sleeper for free. I should say I am glad having a chance to try this new thing. Compared to my old rocker, this sleeper is much more Deluxe. The fabrics are super super soft and I really love the head support and body insert. It makes the baby feel cuddly like in mommy’s arms. My child fell asleep very quickly. As a sleeper, it really did its job. I should tell the other thing I like is the easy fold up function which saves much more space in a small apartment. It is light weight so it’s easy to move around everywhere especially when the baby was growing up very quickly. The assembly is really a pain for me just from the first step. Let’s read the instruction: each hub is designed to fit on the base tubes one way. If one of the tubes does not seem to fit, try the other tube. I took out all of the tubes and tried many times and finally found the right one. You have to put some strength to set it up but you still need to assume it is the right way or the wrong way? Why don’t you just use simple labels such ABCD in the tubes and tell us the correct way directly? I am not a handy person, but I think that must be much easier for these people like me.

I was excited to get this rock n play sleeper as my newborn son spits up a lot and I thought the incline of this sleeper would help. The sleeper was relativity easy to set up, the only challenge was getting the rocking legs snapped together properly. However, after a few tries it did go together and felt sturdy. My son loves this sleeper and the way it snuggles him. He sleeps longer in this than his bassinet and he does spit up less when he is in it as well. The newborn inserts wash well and it is super easy to fold and travel with. We took it on vacation with us and used it in the hotel because he sleeps so well in it and it is compact. When I am sitting in a chair it is easy to rock him though it would kind of be nice if it rocked on its own. I would definitely recommend this sleeper to any new mom, it is convenient and my son loves it! I did receive this product for free in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.

I have a 6 week old baby girl who can get fussy especially in the evenings.. With a good bathe as part of our routine and placing her in this nice rock n play she has been more comfortable. The colors are nice and you can easily transport it if your visiting grandma and grandpa house. However be mindful of

I was excited to receive this sleeper and try it out with my five month old. I was previously using a swing and pack n play in order to put him down, both use up a lot of floor space and are hard to move. This sleeper is so easy to move around the house and even on the back patio so I can take him outside. He also sleeps in it much better than the other products I've tried because of the way the sides curve up and hold him. I highly recommend this product as it has made it easier for me to get tasks done around the house since he is more comfortable when i put him down.

I really wished I had this rock n play with my little one from day one! It took me just 10 minutes to put it together and that included looking for batteries. It was really simple. The material that it's made of is really nice and soft. Even the mesh material. Which makes the sides of it breathable so my baby doesn't get hot. Love the design it looks really cute! I like the colors that they are not bright but really soft baby like! My son loves taking naps in it during the day! The way it's made is really cozy. And I like that it has a little bit of an upwards angle, in case he hasn't burped all the way. Rocking feature is great because even if he is not all the way asleep I rock him for a little bit and he falls asleep. The fact that it folds is really convenient! Usually baby stuff takes a lot of space. But this one folds with a push of a button! And is as easy to unfold! Really light weight so I can move it from room to room, so my son can a take a nap any place! Or if I need a bathroom break! I'm planning to take it with us on a trip. Also you can easily take off the padding and wash it. Great for all the accidents! I love it! A must have baby item!

After six weeks, I was finally able to get some much needed sleep. My baby would not sleep anywhere but on my chest since birth. He wanted me constantly. The Newborn Rock 'n Play was just the right choice! He loves the soothing vibration that the rocker provides and keeps him cooing and happy. It's so nice to just gently rock him and he falls back to sleep. The beautiful giraffe print is perfect for my nursery as well! I love that you can easily push a button and fold it up and take it to another room or even take it on a stay away from home. I am definitely one happy mamma now!

I have a 2 month-old son and this has been a absolute lifesaver! When we had our first, we held didn't have a Rock N Play despite multiple friends telling us we needed one. This time around we got one and it is amazing! It is super easy to set up, folds up easily, is portable and most importantly my son loves it! I can actually put him down and shower, make dinner, and get things done. It has helped him nap better and he even prefers it for sleeping in at night. I love this product and highly recommend it! Pros: easy to set up, portable, baby loves it, nice-looking, batteries last a long time Cons: none- wish I'd bought one sooner.

At first I was hesitant about the rock n play. Who needs another piece of baby gear, right? But the rock n play is a great place for nap time and folds up nicely and neatly.

My son is six weeks old and has difficulty sleeping during the day outside of my arms. At night sleeps just fine in a bassinet but during the day he has no interest. He can be fussy if not held just how he likes. Luckily this Giraffe Rock n Play helps him to sleep during the day and also to give me a little break from holding him! He likes the coziness of the sleeper, and I think he also likes how it hugs his sides a little bit, probably helping him to be a little warmer than just laying on his back. We don't always use the vibration setting, but he does seem to enjoy it when it is one. I also like being able to rock the sleeper a little bit which helps when he is just on the verge of falling asleep. I definitely recommend this sleeper to new parents. It's much smaller than a pack and play for using during the day.

I LOVE LOVE THIS PRODUCT! to start off very easy to assemble took me about 5 mins tops ( I'm not much of a builder) as soon as i finished it, i put my (2month) son in it! and he loved it! he looks very cozy yet has room to stretch his chunky little legs in it! whenever i put him to sleep this is my go to item! i also love that it is very high yet sturdy and i am able to take it to the park and have him inside it. I love how soft the material is and how it is made to be breathable from the sides. the buckles are easy to remove and the little toy attached is quite handy. the color is neutral so it can be given as a gift to either baby girl or boy.The only downside i found is that when rocking this sleeper i feel that it bounces to the ground which causes a sort of jilt to the baby but other than that i love the rock sleeper, i will definitely recommend to my friends.

I received this product as a free sample a couple of days ago and I love it. This rocker only took about 10 minutes to put together because it was very easy to assemble. I think that it's is a very convenient product for parents with newborns to own. It's a comfortable place for an infant to lounge and play in and it can also be used to sleep in all night long. It doesn't take up much space at all. It's also very portable and folds up nicely so you can easily take it along on a trip. I really like how snug my daughter is in it and how comfortably it cradles her. She loves being in it even without the calming vibrations on. I only wish I'd known about this product sooner because it is meant for a newborn who can't roll over or pull up on sides yet (whichever comes first). My daughter is 4 months old and she is already starting to roll over so she won't be able to use this rock n' play sleeper for much longer. Despite the product only being useful for the first few months, I would still definitely recommend this product to other parents because I love all its features. I'm currently using this rocker more often than the swing that I had before.

Oh my goodness, I'm so happy to have been able to try this product,I was in need of something to help my newborn sleep. My 2 month old who weighs 17lbs absolutely loves it. He can sit in it and is able to see everyone,it calms him down when he's crying and he sleeps in it for hours more than he ever sleeps in his bassinet. Received this a few days ago and was excited to use it. Finally was able to to open the box today. I only had to briefly look at the instructions to put it together. It was simple to figure out and only required a little elbow grease. My two week old daughter is currently fast asleep in it. The giraffe background is super soft and comfortable and the mesh provides air flow to keep her cool even in this hot summer weather. Would recommend this in a heartbeat and would purchase for future children as needed. This is our 2nd rnp and I wish I'd bought them for our first born. The easy fold makes this something we can easily fold and bring with us on the go. Also pleased with the strength of this. My 2.5 year old couldn't resist getting in and rocking herself when I left the room. The best part of this is the removable and washable parts.

The sleeper was easy to put together and the directions were easy to follow. It's so lightweight and folds up nicely to fit in the trunk or closet. It's nice to be able to sit back and tap the rocker with your foot, or you just put vibrate on and let the baby self soothe. The mesh siding is a great feature so that you can leave the baby in to sleep safely.

This product is a life-saver! Our daughter had trouble sleeping flat (due to gas) and the incline and comfort of this product allowed us both to get some much needed sleep. It is also very lightweight and portable, so it is easy to move around the house or take on a trip. Whether my daughter is awake or sleeping, she will sit in this contently in the bathroom while I take a (much needed) shower and get ready. I also know so friends that have loved this product as well. The pattern / colors are very cute and gender neutral! I would recommend this for all parents out there!

Portable n convenient as it can fit small places you can bring it with you where u go as well. It collapses so great to go on vacation

I have had this sleeper for about a week now and I must say it is amazing and a lifesaver. My 1 month old really seems comfortable hardly makes a peep, He can fall asleep real fast.The little extra cushion on there is very soft such a cute detail. wish it had at least two more vibration settings, but love that it shuts off by itself. only complain is that when u rock the sleeper back and forth it makes squeaky noises.

I got this to try for my daughter who was having issues sleeping in her bassinet. She does not like sleeping flat and this rock n play sleeper is absolutely amazing! It lets her sleep at a little bit of an incline and makes her feel more secure. She sleeps so soundly in it! I would recommend this to everyone with a newborn!!!

Absolutely love this sleeper. We had originally planned on using a bassinet, but decided to try this first. Baby loves it and sleeps so soundly. Easy to get out in the middle of the night and easy to peek at baby. Vibrating feature is perfect and easy to rock by hand when needed. Would definitely recommend!

For my second son I decided to try out a rock and play and I'm glad I did. It is perfect for newborns to help them feel cozy and comfortable, while still sleeping on a semi-solid surface. The slight incline is also great too, especially if your baby has reflux or spitting up issues. Putting it together was a little confusing. The tubes/pieces only fit together a certain way. I had to have my husband put it together, as I could not figure it out and wasn't strong enough to shove them together. It would be nice if they could somehow color code them to show which end goes in where, but overall it was not bad and quick to go together once we figured it out. The fabric is cuddly soft and the colors are nice, gender neutral. It requires 1.5v batteries for the vibration, so I had to wait a few days to go buy some of those. I really love the rocking feature, as it is just like rocking baby in a rocking chair, but you can still keep yourself free to do other activities. Very nice when he wakes up momentarily during nap times. It is very light weight and easy to move around the house, even when baby is in it. It also folds up, so it can be stored in a smaller space, or I liked being able to take it with me while traveling. Overall a good product. Good quality, convenient and my baby loves it!

I received a rock n' play as one of the play, rate & review program's products to test out and I absolutely adore it. Not only do I love it but my 2 month old loves it as well. It works wonders during the day while he's napping because it allows him to still feel snuggled even without being swaddled. It is also really easy to fold up and take with me wherever I go we've already started to use it for when we travel to grandma's house. It's the perfect newborn necessity.

I received the Rock n Play sleeper for my newborn and I must say it's an amazing product, great quality, it can be used either for boy or girl. Easy to put away and can also be used outdoor since it folds and not heavy...my newborn loves it that he will sleep in for hours! Love it.....
