I bought this carseat for my grandchild. It is well made and seems very sturdy. It was installed in the forward position. It could have been installed facing the rear, but it didn't look like there would be enough room for my toddler granddaughter's feet and it sat too far upright. I think this carseat might be better for an infant or for a toddler that can face forward. Not much room, otherwise. I think we will get quite a few years out of this carseat.

We purchased 2 of these for both my husband and I. They are easy to install, comfortable for our daughter and above all safe.

excellent quality, well-designed. Requires installer to pay very careful attention to the installation instructions. We installed it and then drove to our local fire station and had its installation critiqued by one of the firemen who had taken classes for this purpose.

I bought two of these units for my grandsons while they were visiting. My daughter liked them so much she asked for two for her birthday present.

This is my third baby - and I wish I had bout this earlier! It is so comfy, safe and looks like part of the car! Easy to understand manual, nothing to put together, goes every-which-ay you could desire...big bang for the buck! Baby likes it, so do the "big kids"! It has a cup holder and little mesh pockets to put things in, which is super handy for extra busy toys and pacifiers! I am a huge fan of Eddie Bauer's car seats - and was not dissapointed here. :) And it was WAAAAAAYYYY cheaper than buying at a store.

Overall good product for the price. My only complaint is that the latches are hard to attach and release. They are not automatic like some. It's only a pain if you plan on taking the car seat in and out many times. You have to jam your fingers under the seat, find the latch and press down and unhook. There is no button. It's very light weight and sturdy though.

we love this car seat. we got it for my one year old who is 23 pounds. he loves it and seems quite comfortable in it. it's a great car seat for the price. it was easy to install, looks nice, is easy to buckle, and the side pouches and cup holder are great for toys and snacks. we are really happy we bought this great affordable car seat instead of splurging on some ridiculously priced one. i don't think we would be happier with anything else.

Great item, great price. I was able to get 2, one for me, one for dads car because it was such a great price. It's comfortable for baby, no big complaints here.

We have the $300+ Britax seats in my car and got these fr the husband's the boys seem to love them. They sit comfortably and they are very light weight. A lil hard to get the straps set-up, could be operational error too! By the time he did the 2nd one it was much easier (we have twins) i would recommend!

I bought this as an extra seat for grandparent's vehicle and it turned out to be better than the $300 Eddie Bauer we had for ourselves! I purchased another for my vehicle. The fabric is comfortable for toddler and durable during cleaning. It also weighs practically nothing compared to what we had previously. Easy to install. Easy to clean. Love the convenient mesh pockets and cup-holder.

This car seat is so easy to use! Really like the cup holder it comes with and we will be able to use the seat for a long time because of the wide weight range! It is also very well padded! The main thing was the price is awesome!!! Excellent quality item for the price!

This is the perfect car seat if you own a smaller compact car. I had purchased a larger model and could not fit it in the back seat of my car. I have a four door older vehicle and this Eddie Bauer car seat worked out great. My grandson is safe and very comfortable. Great Buy and Great Find! Believe me, being a grandmother I make sure my grandchild is safe and happy!

This was purchased as a gift for an expectant mother. I chose this particular car seat due to the Eddie Bauer name and reputation and the fact that it's a convertible car seat. I appreciate the fact that it can be used when the baby is an infant up to a toddler.

This car seat in not the greatest in the rear facing position. You pretty much have to have a towel or blanket under the base in the crease of the seat to get it level. It's also tough to tighten the straps because the cord is made to be pulled down and when it's facing the back seat this is difficult. Also with the padding it pushed my son up a little too much while rear facing and his head flopped around when he slept. Forward facing this is a great seat for the price! It works a lot better forward facing than rear facing in my opinion.

We have 6 of these carseats and overall they are great. The only feature I don't love is the locking mechanism. It can be difficult to get undone. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this carseat especially for the price!

Easy to install, sturdy, and the only carsest you will ever need! Easy to adjust for growing baby. Comfortable with thick padding. Couldn't go wrong with the great low price!
