Not a good rearfacing option
January 3, 2014
I bought these after a lot of research becasue I felt they were very safe and liked the features. I recieved them and from the first time putting it in the car I was NOT impressed. At least rear facing even with all my weight on top of the seat I could not get it to tighten into the car enough that I felt comfortable, Also one of the seats had a broken adjustable side that makes the seat more roomy for the child. I have to say that Albee baby has been really good about the return though, they are picking them up today without any problems. I decided to go with the Britax Pavillion G4 because my sister let me borrow hers to try it out and WOW, it is so amazing in comparison to the Diono RXT/GXT. I would seriously recommend it over any other seat we have looked at!
Pros:Made with a metal frame
Cons:VERY HEAVY!!!! Wont strap in thight in the rear facing mode. Takes up a lot of space between the front and back seat. Very uncomfortable for front passengers.
