This is our second baby and we learned quickly with the first that sometimes name brand isn't always the best. I am a new internet shopper and was very nervous about not seeing the product before spending the money on it. But I was pleasantly suprised with this item. The only thing that didn't go completely as I thought was the color it showed in the pictures versus the color it actually was. No biggie though cause it's still very pretty. My baby isn't here yet so I can't comment on durability but my 6 1/2 year old climbed in there acting silly with my 8 month old neice so I know that it can hold some good amount of weight. Overall we were very satified with the product.

Very nice crib. Substantial. HOWEVER, the color is not oak. It is quite orange and dark; more like cognac. I had to return it (at a $cost).
