Plane child restraint without the need for car seat
March 7, 2016
So far, I've traveled with my daughter twice via airplane. Once was when I was solo and she was 1.5 yrs old, I strapped her carseat on the gogo babyz travelmate deluxe and wheeled her through the airport. Once on board, it was alright getting the carseat installed on the plane's seat but the passenger in front of her was unable to recline their seat. The second time was when she was 3.5 yrs old and I decided to bring her other carseat that quickly became a pain. It was extremely heavy and cumbersome all around. I quickly wished we had this CARES airplane restraint so I bought it on her 4th birthday to use some time this year. Along with this purchase, I bought a compact folding booster seat (not available through AlbeeBaby yet) to put in our luggage for short trips.
Pros:keeps child restrained to airplane seat during take off/landing & turbulence.
Cons:I wish there were no weight limits.
Best Uses:Airplane child restraint
