misleading...cannot be used safely in rear facing position...truck, SUV or car

extremely disappointed. Facing backwards on passenger side, the seat creates an incredibly dangerous blind spot forcing placement of seat behind driver. Not only can the driver not glance over at baby, it forces putting baby in and out if the seat on the traffic side of the car. Often there is no option not to park in the street. after a motorist hit the open door on a narrow residential street while getting our g'dtr out of the seat, we have no choice now but to face the seat forward so that we can put the seat on the curb side of the car. Our 12month grandaughter is now facing forward 1 year in advance of recomendations. I strongly recommend against this seat. The Marathon model (without the side impact enhancemet) we purchsed for my son-in-law creates the same blind spot so even though the seat is in the middle of the bench seat it has to be facing forward so as not to create the extremely dangerous blind spot as well. Also the strap adjustments are so tight it is impossible for a female or male without incredibly strong hands to adjust. another serious design flaw. We purchsed 3 of these seats 1 for each car the baby will travel in, all 3 have the same problems. My top of line Britax purchsed 7 years ago did not have these issues. Britax needs to go back to the drawing board and actually use the seats in real life applications BEFORE putting them on the market. This seat gets NO stars.
Pros:The onyx color.
Cons:rear facing creates very dangerous blind spots; strap adjustments are too tight to adjust
