Britax Frontier 85 Harness Booster Car Seat Rushmore

Good, safe (our prior seat was a Britax convertible), like the cup holders & the armrests (good for her to grab on & climb into the seat).

We are so happy with this seat. We bought it for our 2 1/2 year old and he rides safe and happy . We also have the Parkway for our 4 1/2 year old and love it too.

Daughter loves not being in a "baby" seat. Like the 5 point harness that can be converted.

I bought this car seat for my 3 1/2 year old daughter and absolutely love it. It is much easier for her to get in and out of the car and to get her buckled in. My daughter found it much more comfortable as well and would not ride in our second car until we got another Britax Frontier to replace the carseat in that car as well. I am excited to have found a seat that I can keep her in a 5-point for as long as needed.

My son is pretty tall for a four year old, so this seat is great because it gives him lot's of room, and keeps him lower in the car. His old carseat was so bulky, that I would smack his head putting him in it. Its very easy to use, and my son loves the dbl cup holders! Worth the money.

This is a great, very heavy duty car seat to booster. Easy install, streamline for small cars and multiple car seats. The only thing that is a bit of a bother is their new "HUGS" system on the straps, I actually liked the old set up better, they are a bit fussy and they travel down a lot compared to the regular chest buckle. My older daughter has the Britax Parkway sgl, and it feels junky compared to this carseat.

I am one of those parents who just doesn't feel safe going to a seat belt when my child reached 40 pounds. We transitioned to this one before the 40 pound mark and he has no complaints about sitting it it. Their heads don't fall back like and he is safe and secure.

I have ordered several Britax seats from Albee Baby, this one is absolutely the best! So easy to install if you have the newer car with the set hooks and teather hook in back of the seat. The cup holders are awsome and the adjustment features really can take you from a 2 year old to teen ager. Love Love this seat and Albee Baby rocks with the excellent shipping time. So I have been through my fair share of car seats. When my son was a newborn we used the Chicco Keyfit and loved the ease and safety. We then moved up to a convertible carseat when he was a toddler (True Fit by First Years Learning Curve). This was a great seat that wasn't out of my price range. I was pleasantly surprised by Albee Baby's selection and price when we upgraded to a harnessed booster. My son loves his Britax Frontier. I love how I can keep my 3 1/2 year old in a 5 point harness longer. The Britax Frontier is comfortable for my son, easy to install, and also easy to remove and clean up any messes on the fabric. It also fit well inside my small Mazda 3 Hatchback. We will definitely be buying another one of these for my husband's truck!

I like the frontier 85 and my child loves the cup holders on both sides. The only thing I have found so far that I don't like is the single sided latch pull strap. It's very hard to get the car seat tight without alot of hard effort. It was much easier to pull the straps on each side to tighten independently.

I have had this seat for months now. The seat is great and it fits my toddler great. I was a little concerned when my child first used it due to the strait back, but the seat is actually great and the incline of the seat back is not an issue. My child loves the cup holders, which are used for storage at times. a design flaw is the stitching on the side cover clips that attach the cover to the sides of the seat. The stitching sheers away easily rendering the clips useless unless you sow then back on the cover. This does not diminish the functionality of the car seat cover. even if both clips are absent the cover will still stay in place on the car seat. In conclusion, I would easily recommend the car seat to other parents. it is well built, it fits toddlers great, kids like it, and the straps are easy to adjust and the entire seat is easy to clean.

I have loved all the britax seats I've owned. This one is a great toddler stay in the harness choice. Fits a large size range and has advanced safety features. Cup holders are convenient and strap adjustment is simple. We had to put it in the very back row of our Sequoia because its too wide to fit next to our 18 month old's Britax Boulevard and still leave room to flip the seat down for back row use. A sequoia is a huge vehicle so i bet thiis is an issue for others trying to fit multiple car seats. We got 2 Radian XLT seats for the back row of our tundra and they fit next to each other perfectly, but i prefer Britax features. Rsdian has high safety ratings too. The cover has issues at the bottom and two small stretchy straps are not enough to handle a rambunctious 4 year old climbing in and out. The frontier cover is always unhooking at the bottom and losing its foam insert. It annoys me. Over all it's a great seat and its at the top of the list for this type of seat.

Easy to install, our son can easily get into it and buckle the top snap himself. Would consider purchasing another. The cupholders are a nice feature.

Easy to hook up, sturdy, I always purchase Britax for the high safety ratings and LATCH system. It is easy to loosen and tighten the straps, they don't stick over time like other brands I have used. So thankful for 2 cup holders. One for snacks and one for her cup. head rest adjusts easily but stays in place when I need it to. Great seat! and shipped on time.

I have FOUR of these car seats - two in each car. Both of my children are petite so they will never hit the weight limit for many seats, yet they are growing taller so will exceed the height limits. I searched for a long time to find a car seat that would be a 5-point harness beyond the regular guidelines of the other seats because of the issue with my kids being small. This seat has fulfilled all my wishes and will last them for years and years to come. Once they outgrow the harness, it turns into a regular booster, but with the added protection of the side impact. I couldn't be happier with the seat and would recommend it to anyone! It was also pretty easy to install. I find that most people who complain about car seat installation just don't take the time to read through the instructions thoroughly first and then read them again when installing. Honestly, a car seat shouldn't be super easy to install or it's not installed correctly.

This is the second of this model I have purchased so I am very satisfied with the product. Even more so, the customer service Albee is great. the prices are competitive and the sales are good.

This is the 3rd Britax my family has purchased. We have 2 children who were both in the original Marathon's. Our almost 6yo was outgrowing the Marathon height wise pretty quickly so we decided on the frontier 85 and with such a great price we couldn't go wrong! It was a little harder then the marathon to install but once we got the hang of it its a piece of cake! We will definitely be buying a 2nd when our 2yo is ready for one. Highly recommend Britax in general. Fantastic seats.

My 3-year old was quickly outgrowing most convertible seats but we wanted to keep her harnessed as long as possible. This is a great seat for that! It's really easy to adjust the harness height. Installation can be a bit of a pain, though I'm sure it's probably easier in other vehicles. (We have an '06 I'mpala.) We have been unable to get a tight enough install using the LATCH so we've had to go back to using the seat belt installation. Overall, it's well worth the money and the little inconveniences to know my child is as safe as I can possibly make her while riding in the car.

This was a great deal! My daughter who just turned 5 is now in it from the Marathon. She is a peanut at only 30 lbs. She says that it is very comfortable and she likes the cup holders. I love how easy it is to install and that it will be safe for her for a very long time.

I purchased these because my twins were pushing the height limit on the Britax Marathons. They love these seats! They seem more comfortable, plus there are cup holders for snacks and drinks. the headrest is somewhat easily adjustable, however, I found I still needed to disconnect the anchor and tether in order to do it.

Our 4 year old was officially too big for his smaller seat, and I wanted something with more safety, while still giving him the added room. We no longer have to fight with straps or him feeling too cramped. He was super excited that he got a "Big Boy Seat".

My 2 and a half year old loves this car seat. He grew out of the convertible car seat quickly, and I needed it for my younger son. I didn't want to purchase another convertible car seat for my oldest because he was already getting too big for the one we had. It's great that they have convertible booster seats for those too big for convertible car seats, but too young for boosters.

I'm happy with the purchase of Britax Frontier 85 Comination Booster Car Seat Rushmore from Albee Baby. I was nervous after reading some of the reviews about he customer service. The seat arrived within a few days of order. The seat is working out really well for my 4 year old who feels very comforable in his seat and feels like a big boy in it! The price was much cheaper compared to other major stores and i rec'd free shipping.

This seat is very easy to install using the latch system. It is very easy to strap a child in once all the straps are set to the appropriate sizes. My kids love the cup holders on each side.

This is an incredible seat, and will grow with my child. We have used the Britax infant convertible and were eager to try this larger, roomier booster for our three year old now that shes outgrown her former car seats. Shes particularly tall for her age, and I'm grateful to have found something that adheres to the safety regulations for her current size and age (5-point harness), and ecstatic that the height can be adjusted to accommodate her as she grows. This will be her seat until she no longer requires a booster to safety ride in a vehicle! The material is durable and easily cleaned, and the straps are never tangled. My daughter also loves the cup holders, which are roomy enough to house not only a sippy, but also a handful of action figures! My only issue with the seat is that the armrests are high enough for her to slide her leg from the front of the seat and onto the side, even when securely fastened in the seat. I would prefer her mobility to be a bit more limited. Fantastic buy, and worth every penny.

Always use Britax - love their products. The Frontier is great because it transitions to different stages. Our son has special needs and is not developmentally ready for a regular booster - we are grateful for the 5 point harness.

Love this car seat. Easy to install love the fact that there is no need to take apart the seat to adjust the straps as your child grows.

We love this seat. We moved our oldest son out of our Britax Marathon into this one when his younger brother outgrew the infant seat. It's well made (as we've come to expect from Britax), easy to install and fits well in the captain's chair in our van. We'll buy another one when it's time for #2 to be forward facing. Our son's favorite part is the cup holder--he loves to put stuff in them.

Love the car seat but the chest buckle sticks and the padding on the lap buckle falls off- every time.
