I bought this infant car seat because it has the best safety rating. At the time I bought it (as a travel system) it was 50% off which was cheaper than the Chicco I was looking at and this one is better rated. It is heavy but I am willing to make sacrifices and add a little muscle mass to my arms to make sure my LO is safe. Also, when attached to the base to go in a vehicle it is pretty big. I drive a Tahoe and it hangs over the front of the seat a little and we have to move the passenger seat up some. If you have a little vehicle check the measurements first. You can put it in the car without the base but I feel better with the base attached.

Cons:Somewhat heavy-but i will deal with it.
