The babysitter balance works perfect. I got it when my son was 5 months old and didn't use it a whole lot at first. but now that he wants to hold his own bottle it is perfect for him. The seat tilts to three levels he has learned to hold his bottle using the seat. He's now 9 months and we use it all the time he loves sitting in the chair and bouncing it himself. I love that the cover comes off easily and can be washed, It's also reversible. I don't think I would have used it much for a newborn though, the vibration that some of the other seats offer worked really nice for my little guy. But now that he's older I use it all the time, and unlike the vibration seat that he outgrew long ago the babysitter balance can be used up to 29lbs. It's also great that it folds flat for easy storage.
