So smooth, even with my 50lb child
October 2, 2013
I have been looking for a double for my two girls (1 and 5) because we walk A LOT to get all over our city and up until now I have been pushing my older girl in the single BOB and carrying my little one in the Ergo. That has been fine but I really wanted to have a seat for both of them for the times that I didn't want to have to 'wear' my baby (who is getting very heavy!). I love the BOB and considered getting the Duallie but I am also crazy about the Baby Jogger brand. I got a City Mini when my second was born and I LOVE it so much. When I heard that Baby Jogger was coming out with a new double jogger, I just new it was what I would be the happiest with. I am in love! It is so smooth and easy to push even up hills with both girls. I strap my diaper bag on the side with my baby to even out the weight when both of them are in it. I actually prefer it so much to my single BOB that even when I don't have my big girl, I will just use the extra seat for my diaper bag. The storage is great underneath, not so great to remove things from the back of the stroller but really nice from the sides. The canopies are awesome, the shocks are great, bar is comfy. My only wish is that there was more foot room like the BOB duallie has. It's nice to have good foot room once your kids are tall enough to it. Also, my little dog likes to sit on it when he gets too tired on long walks - not an option with the Summit. I love the hand brake to slow the stroller down steep hills. My girls are quite comfy in it. They have both fallen asleep in it, especially the baby, but I was surprised that even my big girl was comfy enough to fall asleep. It fits through all doors I have encountered and turns and moves so easily. I am so pleased with it!
Pros:Easy to push with a heavy child
Cons:Little foot room
