Great Double Stoller!!
July 14, 2011
I am so impressed so far (it's only been 3 days - lol!)! I did, however do a ton of research on doubles. I currently have a two year old and I am expecting my 2nd in October. Every review I have read about the Baby Jogger City Mini Double has been great and I am excited to be able to add my own! As soon as we received it out of the package the only assembly needed was to put the tires on and the sunshades which was a simple as could be! It is built solidly and every piece seems quality and will hopefully hold up well for a number of years. My daughter hopped right in and loved it so much she cried when I tried to take her out! So we went for a walk, just to test it out, and I was amazing! It rides smoother and easier than my single Chicco Cortina and my daughter did not want to get out the whole walk, even when we stopped by the playground! The sunshade was extensive, covered her almost completely and she also enjoyed it not to mention I could keep an eye on her through the windows! I do not think I will get the car seat carrier setup because the seat folds very flat and could hold even a newborn well with a snuzzler. Overall I am thrilled with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone especially with the great price right now! Shipping was also super fast (and free)!
Pros
  • Durabliity
  • Huge Sunshades
  • Comfortable for children
  • Rides smooth and easy with true 360 degree turns
  • Great storage
  • Many options through Baby Jogger and other companies.
Cons
  • Wish it had cupholders for kids and parents but many options are available through Baby Jogger and other brands.
  • Doesn't fit carseats without the separate attachment.

LOVE THIS STROLLER
May 22, 2011
I purchased this stroller after much research and debate between this the combi twin double and peg perego aria 60/40. i have a almost 3 year old and a 14 month old! THEY love sitting next to eachother. it is soo easy to maneuver! I am in love with it! it doesn't have cupholders you can buy them for quite a bit of money extra but i bought fisher price one that fits on any stroller or carseat for 7.99 at my local tjmaxx store. so its perfect the kids can have a snack and drink and enjoy the ride! i love the canopy is seperate and folds down far hiding the sun, and i love that the seats recline so well! there is a decent size basket you may get a diaperbag under but with kids in the seats it may be harder to get it out but its possible! But i really have nothing negative to say about this stroller its great! i would highy reccomend spending the extra $ and purchasing this stroller!!
Pros
  • it folds compact fits in my trunk and i still have room for other things
  • easy to manuever
  • great canopy sun shades
  • reclines far enough for sleeping children!
  • easy to fold and open
  • just a great stroller
Cons
  • no cupholders but easily fixed with fsherprice brand adjustable snack/cupholder

Feels luxurious, nice and compact double stroller
June 17, 2010
I researched diff't double stroller configurations a ton before making this purchase. I've had it for 9 months now. It's awesome, steers like a dream. However, the only couple of challenges I have are: 1. The basket is hard to access. I have to stuff things in there individually most of the time. 2. My 9 month old looks uncomfortable and awkward in it, although my 2 1/2 year old fits in it fine. So that alone makes me think twice before loading it into my car. It is lightweight and is not ever a problem going through doorways.
Pros
  • Steers & rides wonderfully
  • Lightweight
  • Great recline
  • Canopy has awesome coverage
Cons
  • Basket hard to access
  • Baby looks slouched and uncomfortable in it, but toddler is fine
  • Additional accessories are almost necessary
