Love this stroller!
March 8, 2011
First let me say that I'm a stay at home mom with children living on one income, so budgeting is very important to me. So I needed to get the biggest bang for my buck. Secondly, I was needing a stroller for my three year old, so I'm not putting a younger/smaller child in this stroller. Thirdly, I go for long walks(not run) around the city with normal city obstruction (buckled sidewalks, cracked pavement, etc), so I really didn't need an "all terrain stroller"; and if you've hiked as many trails as I have, there really isn't such a thing anyway. Finally, I live in small apt. and I drive a small sedan, so I need a stroller that doesn't take much space, this is very important!
I, initially, was coveting the city mini single, but the price was out of my range. This stroller caught my eye. After some research, I decided to bite the bullet and buy. And I'm glad I did!! It's very lightweight! Easy to collapse and fits perfectly in my car and apt!! Plenty of head room for my 3 year old and a place to rest her feet. It maneuvers easily and gives her a pretty great ride. Although, it doesn't recline very far, it suites my 3 year old pretty well. I even put my 4 foot tall, 54lb, 6 year old in this stroller and it felt like nothing when i pushed him uphill. This would not have been possible with my last stroller. So yes, I'm very, very happy!!! Plus, I LOVE the color!!!
Although the basket underneath is pretty small, there are other pockets to hold your essentials. I'm 5'2" and the handle bar is perfect, although I noticed that I kicked the lower bar a few times when I'm walking with my elbows bent, maybe this will be a concern for a tall person? Only drawback for me, was that it doesn't have a cupholder. I didn't think it would be important, but wouldn't you know, it is? I see that Albee's price is pretty reasonable, so I may be buying it, soon. Thank you, Albee Baby for pricing this stroller just right!!!
Pros:It's very lightweight
